I signed up for my first 5k this weekend. The Jingle Bell Run & Walk in downtown Seattle,WA. They are raising money for arthritis research and treatment.
I’ve been on a training schedule for about a month in a half and hope to step it up a bit as the run is in 6 weeks.
Because it is my first really “race” I signed up with the group labeled as the “joggers and runners” as they are un-timed and paced at a 30 minute finish time.
Hopefully all goes well and I’ll get hooked as I’ve been told I will.
Any advice or encouragment would be wonderful!
